Product Overview

What is a commercial pizza prep table? A commercial pizza prep table — also called a pizza prep station, saladette, or refrigerated worktop — combines chilled storage, food preparation, and ingredient display in one unit. Gastronorm pans of toppings sit in cut-outs on the stainless worktop, while the refrigerated base cabinet below holds backup ingredients and semi-prepared items.

Full Kitchen builds the series with a 201# brushed stainless steel exterior and a SUS304 food-grade stainless steel interior, on a 1.0 mm worktop that takes the daily abuse of a working kitchen. Cooling comes from a Donper compressor with copper-tube evaporator and condenser. Choose fan cooling for even cabinet temperature within ±1°C, or static cooling for a lower entry price on drinks and pre-packed goods.

The worktop is slotted for standard GN 1/3 pans — 5 to 10 wells depending on length, with the count and layout customizable. An acrylic transparent flip lid or a stainless steel guard rail is available. Typical installations: pizzerias, western-style casual dining, milk tea and beverage bars, salad bars, buffet restaurants, and central kitchens.

Why Choose the Full Kitchen Pizza Prep Table

Two Cooling Modes, One Cabinet

Fan cooling holds the cabinet even to within ±1°C — right for temperature-sensitive produce and dairy. Static cooling costs less and suits bottled drinks and pre-packed goods. Both hold 0–10°C precisely.

SUS304 Where Food Touches

Inner cabinet is SUS304 2B stainless — corrosion resistant and food-safe. The exterior is 201# brushed stainless on a 1.0 mm worktop: tough, and wiped clean in seconds.

Donper Compressor, Copper Circuit

A top-tier Chinese compressor brand with copper-tube evaporator and condenser. Fast pull-down, quiet running, 20–30% better energy efficiency than generic units, 5–8 year service life.

Four Standard Lengths, 800 mm Deep

1200 / 1500 / 1800 / 2000 mm, all 800 mm deep and 985 mm high with the lid fitted (850 mm without). Standardize a whole chain from one supplier.

Built Around Your GN Layout

Worktop cut-outs for 5 to 10 GN 1/3 pans, arranged the way your line works. Acrylic flip lid, stainless lid, or open top — your call.

Factory Direct, MOQ From 1 Unit

No trading margin. One standard unit ships as a sample; custom OEM builds start at 5 units. Export packing, plug type, and certification handled in-house.

Three Core Upgrades

UPGRADE 1

Cooling System

Donper compressor paired with a pure copper-tube evaporator and condenser. Fast cooling, low energy draw, 5–8 year service life.

UPGRADE 2

Door Sealing

TPE eco-friendly gasket plus a self-closing hinge. The seal stays flexible at low temperature instead of hardening and cracking, and the door returns on its own to stop cold loss.

UPGRADE 3

Cabinet Construction

60 mm high-density polyurethane foam insulation, laser-welded panels with no visible weld spots, and fully radiused stainless corners inside and out for fast wipe-downs.

Packing, weight & container loading
  • Packing — anti-scratch film, thickened corner guards, reinforced wooden frame or fumigated plywood crate, one unit per crate
  • Weight — approx. 70 kg net per unit on a standard 220 V / 50 Hz build (indicative, based on a shipped export order)
  • Volume — approx. 1.2 CBM bare (1500 × 800 × 985 mm); crated volume runs higher, typically 1.4–1.5 CBM
  • Container loading (estimate) — approx. 14–18 units per 20GP and 36–44 units per 40HQ, calculated on a crated volume of ~1.45 CBM at 85–90% container utilisation. These are planning estimates only — final figures depend on model mix, crate design, and port rules, and are confirmed on your packing list.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a pizza prep table and a refrigerated prep counter?
They are essentially the same product family. "Pizza prep table" describes the pizza-shop application, usually with a slotted worktop holding gastronorm ingredient pans. "Refrigerated prep counter" or "saladette" is the generic trade name for a chilled worktop with storage underneath. Our units cover both uses — you choose the configuration.
Should I choose fan cooling or static cooling?
Fan cooling circulates air with a fan, holding cabinet temperature even to within ±1°C — the right choice for temperature-sensitive produce, dairy, and fresh toppings. Static cooling uses a copper tube coil and costs less, which suits bottled drinks and pre-packed ingredients. If the budget allows, fan cooling gives the better working experience.
What is the temperature range? Can it freeze?
Standard units run 0°C to +10°C for chilled storage and food prep. They are not freezers. If you need -18°C, ask us about a freezer worktop or pair the prep table with one of our chest freezers.
Can I customize the size, pan layout, or add my logo?
Yes. We build OEM and ODM orders routinely: length from 900 mm to 3000 mm, the number and arrangement of worktop cut-outs, lid type (acrylic flip lid, stainless steel, or open), body color, and screen-printed or laser logo. Minimum order quantity for a custom build is typically 5 units.
Which compressor do you use?
Donper as standard — a top-tier Chinese brand with strong cooling, low running noise, and 20 to 30 percent better energy efficiency than generic compressors, with a service life of 5 to 8 years. Embraco and other imported brands can be specified on request.
What warranty do you offer?
1 year on the complete unit and 3 years on the compressor core parts. Non-human damage inside the warranty period is repaired or replaced free of charge. Paid service and spare parts continue for the life of the unit after the warranty expires.
What is the lead time?
Standard sizes (1200 / 1500 / 1800 / 2000 mm) ship in 3 to 7 working days. Custom builds take 10 to 15 working days. Orders above 50 units are scheduled separately.
What is the MOQ for export?
One unit for a standard model — a single sample can be shipped for evaluation. For custom OEM builds the MOQ is typically 5 units. Most repeat buyers consolidate a mixed 20GP or 40HQ container across several product lines.
Which voltage and plug do you supply?
220 V / 50 Hz as standard. We build to 110 V / 60 Hz and fit the plug type for your destination market — UK, EU, US, AU — with CE or UL certification on request. Wide-voltage 100–240 V 50/60 Hz builds are also available for distributors reselling across several countries.
How is the prep table packed for export, and what documents do you provide?
Each unit is wrapped in an anti-scratch film, fitted with thickened corner guards, and crated in a reinforced wooden frame or plywood case. We issue commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin, plus the certification files your market requires.
Do the cut-outs fit US third-size pans, or only gastronorm pans?
Yes in practice. The wells are cut for GN 1/3 pans, which measure 325 × 176 mm (12.8 × 6.9 in) under the EN 631 gastronorm standard. The US third-size steam-table pan is 12.75 × 6.875 in (324 × 175 mm) — within about 1 mm — so it drops straight in without modification. If your operation runs a different pan format, we re-cut the worktop to your pan on an OEM order.
What is the FOB starting price?
From USD 350 FOB for a standard 220 V / 50 Hz unit — an indicative figure based on a shipped export order. Final price depends on model, cooling mode, quantity, container size, and destination port. Submit the quote form or email sales@kitchenmfg.com for a binding quote within 12 hours.
